Case Study: Germany-Based Firm Automates Processes, Freeing 38 Staff for Higher-Value Tasks
N-TEC is a German original equipment manufacturer that specialises in developing and manufacturing storage solutions for businesses worldwide. The company wanted an automated, highly available, and cost-effective network attached storage (NAS) system capable of handling a myriad of small files every day. N-TEC chose Windows® Storage Server 2003 R2, a dedicated file and print server, based on the Windows Server® operating system, and designed for its integration features, reliability, and for offering customers best value in network attached storage. GAA in Germany tested the solution and found that it provided good scalability, high failure security through redundant design, and, critically, handled replication of many small files in real time. Instead of 40 staff, GAA needs only two to manage the system—there are no operating expenses, and administration takes only a few minutes a day.

These are the product keys that are printed on the Certificates of Authenticity (COAs) affixed to Embedded Systems preinstalled with Windows XP Professional for Embedded Systems.
To address the shortage of product keys, MS has released SP2c which expands the product key range to support distribution of Windows XP Professional for Embedded Systems through end of life which is currently planned for December 31, 2016.
