Ablauf einer Imageerstellung
Windows Embedded Standard 7 bietet eine einfache, und neuartige, Weise, Ihre Images zu erstellen. Die Imageerstellung findet hierbei direkt auf der Zielhardware statt. Mit dem Image Build Wizard booten Sie Ihr System direkt in ein erweiteres Windows 7 Setup, welches Ihnen eine einfache, aber detaillierte Anpassung Ihres Windows Embedded Standard 7 Images ermöglicht.
Alternativ dazu können Sie auch den Image Configuration Editor auf einem Entwicklungsrechner verwenden, um eine Antwortdatei für eine automatische Installation mittels Image Build Wizards zu erstellen.
Lizenzvarianten
Windows Embedded Standard ist in verschiedenen Versionen verfügbar.
Die benötigte Lizenz hängt von den auf dem System verwendeten Features ab.
Um die Unterschiede zwischen den Versionen aufzuzeigen, haben wir folgende Auflistung erstellt.
Beachten Sie: Windows Embedded Standard 7 Service Pack 1 enthält SKU Compliance Feature Pakete.
Diese Pakete ermöglichen es Ihnen, sich einfach für eine bestimmte Lizenzform zu entscheiden. Features, welche nicht in der entsprechenden Version enthalten sind, werden dabei gesperrt. Beispiel: Sie können alle Feature Pakate in installieren und zustzlich das WES7E SKU Compliance Feature Paket auswählen. Alle Features der WES7P Variante, wie zum Beispiel das Windows Media Center, werden dabei gesperrt.
