Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro es un sistema operativo diseñado y optimizado específicamente para dispositivos médicos y cajeros automáticos (ATM). 1. Instalación sencilla

2. Lockdown Características

Add additional security to your embedded images by using the Lockdown Features. Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro introduces the new Unified Write Filter that combines the best of Enhanced Write Filter, File Based Write Filter and Registry Filter! It also adds the USB Filter to create a black or white list for USB devices that can be used on the device.

3. Personalizable

Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro permite añadir y eliminar características mediante el cuadro de diálogo "Activar o desactivar características de Windows".

4. Embedded Lockdown Director

The new Embedded Lockdown Manager allows administrators to manage the Lockdown Features remotely. This can be done via graphically the new MMC o con secuencias de comandos PowerShell mediante la función mejorada WMI interfaz.

WinRT is considered as a replacement for the Win32 API and allows you to access all the systems functions very easily from within C++, .NET and even HTML5 applications

10. Arranque VHD

Install your Windows directly into a VHD file and boot from it. This enables you many features beginning from easier servicing, cloning, etc.

Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro is installed directly on the target device.
The OPK contains a bootable setup DVD which will guide you through the whole installation process directly on the device.

Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro includes additional features such as the Unified Write Filter to protect your image. Also you can use the new Embedded Lockdown Manager to configure the Lockdown Features locally or even remotely – either by using the MMC Snap-In or PowerShell scripts.
