We released new updates for our tools! Elbacom Embedded Toolkit V2.5.4 CHANGELOG: SWM Compatibility All tools are now supporting the splitted WIM file format (*.SWM). This is useful and required when using FAT32 formatted drives which are sometimes required on UEFI systems. Recovery Creator now supports to create recovery media that contain SWM files or will automatically split large WIM files into SWM files to support FAT32 target file systems. We added new Events to our Eventpage! If you want to get the latest information about Windows 10 IoT register and come to our events. Install Update KB3125574 on Windows Embedded Standard 7
Microsoft released a new cumulative update for Windows 7 called "Convenience Update". It contains all security and non-security updates from SP1 until April 2016. This Update also makes sense for the Embedded Channel. Normally the Update doesn’t work for Windows Embedded Standard 7 but we found a way how to do the installation anyway. Minnowboard MAX can run Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro
The Minnowboard MAX is a X86-based small footprint device which costs about 140$ (depending on the hardware configuration). There is a special version of the new Windows 10 IoT Core for this board but now you can also do the installation of the full Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Pro. This is very interesting because you can now use all Embedded Features to lockdown or customize the device.
