Windows Embedded POSReady 7
The successor of Windows Embedded POSReady 2009. A preconfigured operating system based on Windows Embedded 7, optimized for Point of Service applications.
Windows 7-like setup allows you to install POSReady 7 with a few clicks directly on your target device. The installed image contains Embedded Enabling Features such as the Enhanced Write Filter, File Based Write Filter, Registry Filter, USB Boot and the new Keyboard Filter.

Easy Setup
Easy installation wizard allows installation of the operating system with a few mouse clicks.

Embedded Enabling Features
Protect your configuration using filter drivers like Enhanced Write Filter, File Based Write Filter, Registry Filter, boot from USB and customize the shell. Block certain keys and key combinations using the new Keyboard Filter.

Security
Features known from Windows 7 add security to your devices. Use AppLocker to only run predefined software or BitLocker to completely encrypt your device's system drive.

Language Packs
Offers many language packs which can be integrated into the image. The UI language can be changed on the fly in the running image.

No Activation
Does not need to be activated. Once a product key has been entered at build-time the image is fully activated. The image can be cloned as often as needed without any need to re-activate.

Compatibility
100% compatible to Windows 7. There is no need to rewrite or port your application. If it runs on Windows 7 it will run on Windows Embedded POSReady 7 without any change. All Windows 7 drivers will work on POSReady 7.
Image Build Process
Windows Embedded POSReady 7 is installed directly on the target device. The OPK contains a bootable setup DVD which guides you through the whole installation process directly on the device.
