Microsoft has released POSReady 7 and it is now available to order. An evaluation version of POSReady 7 is already available for download from the Microsoft Windows Embedded website.
The new POSReady 7 is based on Windows Embedded Standard 7 technology and includes new Embedded Enabling Features such as the Enhanced Write Filter and a new Keyboard Filter Driver. DISM also allows adding and removing features after installation.
